My Favorite Anime :)

A former member of the swim team, Momo tans easily and her hair is bleached out; unfortunately, she is stereotyped by her ignorant classmates, and is forced to endure rumors about being a "easy girl" that has had many sexual relationships. Her only friend is Sae, who is actually responsible for spreading the nasty gossip due to her jealousy of Momo. Momo's life is further complicated with the introduction of Kairi Okayasu, a wise-cracking playboy who is determined to make her his. He reveals to Momo that she had saved him from drowning the summer before high school started.
Things become even more complicated when Sae, in an attempt to make Momo miserable, spreads rumors about Momo and Kairi making out. The rumor about the kiss between the two is true, but it was Kairi who initiated it while Momo remained stunned by the interaction. When Toji is hospitalized, Sae convinces Toji to break up with Momo. They soon get back together, but Sae later tries to make their relationship complicated again by threatening to discredit Momo with her newly acquired access to the mass media. Though Toji is defiant to begin with, he reluctantly breaks up with Momo in order to protect her. Momo is heartbroken at first, particularly due to not knowing it is part of Sae's schemes. However, she eventually begins dating Kairi, whom she had previously considered annoying, and soon begins to fall in love with him.
When it is revealed to Momo why Toji broke up with her, Momo is left to choose between Toji and Kairi. More problems arise and the love triangle intensifies.
In "Sae's Story", Sae is left back a year, for she always was skipping classes. She is too stubborn so she goes to Momo's and Kairi's university every day. Toji goes to a good university by himself. Sae then meets one of her childhood sweethearts, Kanji (or Monkey Boy), who left for Malaysia when they were young, and promised to marry Sae when he was back. In love with Sae, Kanji follows her around, trying to win Sae back over. He also takes care of Sae's dog, Sora, when her parents would no longer let her keep it. The dog walks with a little limp, as one day when the dog tried to follow Sae, she threw a rock at its paw and injured it. Sae starts modeling and pretends she goes to college with Momo, when she is really still in high school. She meets Honda and works for CC as a model. She meets a guy named Takuma, but he later turns her down. Sae later meets another guy named Shinji, but realizes he never really liked her. All these ups and downs make Sae realize that Momo, Kairi, and Kanji are the only people that actually care for her.

BEYONCÉ BIOGRAPHY

On the closing night of her record breaking, globe-trotting I Am... stadium tour, Beyoncé made a pact with herself. The multi-million selling artist and one of the best performers of her generation decided to give herself 12 months off. In fifteen years of professional life, as a member of the ground-breaking R&B trio Destiny's Child and as a solo pop icon, she had only enjoyed a maximum of one month off previously. Sasha Fierce represented an artistic and commercial peak for the artist - if she could not move away from the spotlight now for some me-time and a personal debriefing, when could she?

"So I made a list to myself of all the things I wanted to do in that time," she says, in a Downtown Manhattan loft, looking as effervescently recharged as she should after 12 months downtime. She wanted to go to the ballet, to learn to cook, to master the Final Cut Pro edit suite she'd bought herself, to pick her nephew up from school, to see Broadway shows, to sleep in her own bed and not in a hotel. "I wanted to live my life," she explains."

"For the first time in my life I was able to travel the world and hear different influences," she says, "To see different kinds of dance and choreography and taste different types of food and just be able to relax and have great conversations." Previously, Beyoncé: The Artist had taken priority. It was time for Beyoncé: The Person to step forward. "I felt like I had worked so hard all my life that it was important that I was just able to be inspired and to digest everything I have been doing for so long."

This being Beyoncé, the rest period started to slowly metamorphose into the new record, 4. She could turn off the schedule, but she could not turn off her intuitive feeling for creating dynamic music. It was time to set a new bar. For the first time ever, she made a record not because the label had penciled one in on the marketing wall-chart but because she wanted to make one for herself. “It was a labor of love. It was done because I love what I do and not because I was trying to make a certain type of album. Because it was my playground, it was real."

The result is a shape-shifting piece of musical work for Beyoncé . Opening with three platinum-plated ballads to mid-tempos, 4sets out its vision as a radical sidestep from the era-defining club and pop hits of Destiny's Child. For the first half of the album, before she jumps off into the street-smart 90s New Jack bounce of "Party", a collaboration with Kanye West and Andre 3000, you might even call it her rock record. 'Other people have said that,' she says, looking delighted with the note. Touring the world along with her husband and his entourage had opened her up to the possibilities of new genres and the magnitude of the festival experience. She had started looking beyond stadiums, watching Linkin Park and Muse and Rage Against The Machine whip up their adoring fans in different ways than pop music intuits. She liked what she saw. Beyoncé started thinking about the possibility of re-writing her place in musical history:

"It's bolder than the music on my previous albums because I'm bolder," she notes. "The more mature I become and the more life experiences I have, the more I have to talk about. I really focused on songs being classics. I really focused on songs being classics, songs that would last, songs that I could sing when I'm 40 and when I'm 60. I feel like it's important I start shaping my legacy. Doing things that have a little more substance. I really want people to think when they listen to my music. I want them to feel more than 'OK, I'm at a party, I'm dancing'. I want it to be a conversation. I wanted to help them through their painful memories and their most happy moments."

With long-term co-writer The-Dream in the second chair, a record started to emerge. "I feel like it's important to have a personal connection and a natural chemistry with people who are writing songs with you because it's you at your most vulnerable moments, saying your deepest thoughts. I felt like he's almost like a brother to me." An extended list of collaborators began filtering through studio time she booked herself, for love. An audacious musicality had started to emerge with The-Dream. The venerated songwriter Diane Warren scripted "I Was Here" specifically for Beyoncé and told the press unequivocally "It is the best song I've ever written."

New collaborators were discovered in new ways. "I am always anxious to find someone new just because I believe it brings out something in me and it keeps me really honest," she says. She first heard new soul voice Frank Ocean in her husband's car. "After one song I said 'OK, who is that? because I want them on a flight tonight.' And Jay told me it was Frank Ocean and I immediately reached out and he came in the next day. He's an artist and I can't wait for everyone to hear him because he is just the truth. He is refreshing to the industry." She says she can "spend hours and hours on the internet and I love to click on the artists that are recommended to me, and I've found some great artists that I would never find any other way."

The new names were complemented by bona fide legends. "I worked with Babyface,” continues Beyoncé, "because I feel like he's one of the best R&B songwriters ever, in history. He is one of the songwriters that opened the doors up for all of the writers that are great and wonderful right now." They crafted the timeless rock/funk workout "Best Thing I Never Had" together.

"I was really listening to a lot of Boys II Men for the harmonies and Etta James and Aretha Franklin and Prince and Michael (Jackson) and I just wanted to do a gumbo of all the things that I loved, and I wanted to create things that just didn't typically go together." Echoes of Michael can be heard on the booty-shaking summer joint "Love on Top," "and Purple Rain" is an influence on the heartrending opening ballad "1+1". "I mixed the baritone sax with the synth. The synth is very electronic and the baritone sax is so full and warm and real and when you put them together playing the same thing it was just something so new. It was so much fun putting bridges back into songs and twelve part harmonies back into songs and huge choruses and breakdowns and guitar solos and drum solos and all the things that I love in music that I feel like I just want to hear again."

Still shy of her 30th birthday, Beyoncé's musical maturation is almost complete. "Progression as an artist is the most important thing to me. That is what success is for me. I feel like if I stay in one spot then I am not doing my job, I'm not growing as a human being and I'm wasting time. I always want to challenge myself. I always want to have that nervous ball in my stomach before I go on the stage. That's how I know that I'm doing the right job."
Her personal ethics and work methodology stretch even further. "I always want to challenge the music industry. I feel like it's kind of my job to create the new up-tempos. It's kind of my job to set the tone and be the example. So it's sometimes risky but it's the only reason I've been able to last for as long as I have in this industry. Because it's really short-lived and I feel like if people can predict your next move then it's just not interesting."

Few people would have predicted 4. Few people, that is, other than Beyoncé. In her award winning Hollywood roles, Beyoncé found a new release for her artistry outside of the music industry. Later this year she will begin filming for director Clint Eastwood on his remake of the evergreen classic A Star Is Born. But it was her turn as a locum Supreme in Dreamgirls and Etta James in the story of Cadillac Records that really released something in the singer, that ushered her down a new pathway for her artistry:

"I fell in love with doing films when I did Dreamgirls. That was the first time that I really felt like I acted. I felt like I became a better person and learnt something about myself in that role. But I've taken it steps further when I played Etta James. It's the most I'd learned about myself until the recording of this album, 4. Playing that character and going to a deeper place, completely losing all ego. Completely losing all insecurities and almost being naked and vulnerable and not thinking about what anybody else is thinking about me. Just being completely me. To have that private moment and be able to share it with the world was something really difficult. To express myself and express the imperfections in my voice. The raspiness and the pain. Everything I've been through in my life I put into that film and I learnt that I can make my job so much more than music. It can almost be therapy for me. When I went into the studio for this album I used that same passion, honesty, and approach with my vocals that I channeled as Etta James. It's a lot rawer. It comes from a deep place. I only sang things once. I wanted it to be really emotional and sincere and I learnt that from doing the movies. I feel like when I play the right character it makes me so much better as a musician and a performer."

Next year, 2012, will mark the 15th anniversary of Beyoncé as a pre-eminent member of the musical fraternity. In a fickle entertainment world, where pop icons come and go within three-year cycles, it's a moment worth celebrating. "I can't believe that I've achieved all that I've achieved. I never, ever would imagine all the things that I've done."

Unsurprisingly her forthcoming 30th birthday is not a cause of trepidation but one of celebration. "I am so excited about turning 30. It actually is mind-boggling to me that people get, you know, scared or frightened or 'Oh my God, I'm 30!' it's so old. That's ridiculous. I don't know whether it's because a lot of my friends are a lot older than I am and I always feel young and I can't wait to grow older and wiser and be more comfortable in my skin but 30 is like the best age you can ever be. You're a woman but you're still young and you know, I'm so looking forward to it."

It's just another benchmark in the life of this incredible performer, pop star and woman.

Why Do You Love Michael Jackson?

On one of my blogs, I told my reasons why I love Michael Jackson. And now, I got curious for on what other MJ Fans thinks about him. So I did interview to some of them and I noticed that some of them were you know, have deep reasons why they love Michael. And that inspired me to love Michael more.

"Because of the attitude that I saw on him and he dance and sing beautifully and ever since I became a fan of him, he had done too many things to me.That's why I love him very much the King of Pop forever and for last. Also, he had inspire me to sing because his songs were the ones which I always hear before." - Hasina
"His songs were very inspiring and he was a great dancer! The only thing that I can say when he dance was awesome! Amazing! Really Great! That's all why I love him" - Nikko

And just like what they have said, Michael Jackson for the fans, was an inspiration. And I'm sure, there are lots of them had been inspired by the King of Pop, Michael Jackson.

And there are fans that loved Michael just by who simply he is.

"I love him because he is a true person with good personality and his songs are fantastic." - Wendy
"I love him because aside of his inspirational songs, he had helped a lot of people, even though there are a lot of cases that were thrown to him, he tried to be unaffected about it, he still making people happy." - Princess
"I love him because of his talent, and he is very handsome, hot, humanitarian! He is the greatest entertainer in this Earth and also, I like him the way he plays with children." - Angelica
"I love him not only because of his great works and great contributions in the world of Music Industry. I love him for who he is and what he had became. And more importantly, I was born to love him and it's a wonderful fate of me." - Rachelle

It's great-full to know that the fans loves Michael not just because he is a great singer and dancer but because of who Michael really was. I hope that people would see this real Michael Jackson.

"Why do I love Michael Jackson? Hmm... I remember when my brother bought Thriller CD and I liked it. When he bought DVD collections, I have seen his Music Videos and played it again and again. That time, I found out that he was the one who sang 'Heal The World' which I liked, so I searched about him more. And I idolized him more when I learned some facts about him. He supported a lot of Charities, influenced every artists, inspiring songs, everything! I felt sorry for him that he'd been working at such an early age. And there's a lot of people who are judging him on how he look and his morals, misunderstand I say. And for that, I loved him more :) He's so kind and so great :)" - Roelyn

Well, that's what you called, 'Michael Jackson Magic' :D. And we all know that Michael Jackson was the celebrity with the most Charities supported. So, no doubt about his kindness and good heart. And about him being misjudged by people, all I can say is 'You don't know him the way we (his fans) do.' And that's why I think the MJ Fans were also misjudge. I really don't understand people like that.

"Michael was about Hope. Hope that the innocent belief in peace and love could ignite the imagination of the world. Hope that love could win. Hope that music and laughter could save the planet and heal the world. After all this time, many are giving up their hope. Who knows what to think. There seems to be tons of evidence that he could still be alive but there is that horrible thought that he is simply gone." - Kharem

I agree with her statement, Michael hoped. He hoped for peace, for unity, for Love. And as Michael Jackson Fans, we must continue what he'd started. To spread the love to the world. About her statement that 'he could still be alive', I admit, there is something at the back of my mind which says 'Time's up. Time to move on.' thing. But i'm not closing my heart and my mind for any possibilities. I'm hoping too. But she's right, maybe, he is simply gone.

But you know, Michael Jackson beLIEver or non-beLIEver, we all still love Michael Jackson. We're all fans and it's enough for us to unite together. To continue what he'd started. Together, we'll be strong and together, we'll Spread the L.O.V.E. <3

7 Reasons Why I Love The King Of Pop

My name is Peach and I am a Michael Jackson Lover. And if your asking why, I have here my 7 reasons why I love the King of Pop, Michael Jackson.

I love Michael not just because he is a superstar but because of his natural kindness, his soft heart for people especially children, his love for the animals and to Mother Earth. I never found a man like him in my life. For me, he's just perfect.

I love Michael because of the music that he made. His songs are very much into me. His message to the world, his message to the people and the one he loves, all of that were in his songs. He had a lot of songs but notice that all those songs had one point -- LOVE. He is a person who is full of LOVE. Thats why I love him. He loved to love others and wanted to love one another. He made songs with deep meanings. He made songs with full of heart. He made songs to make people happy because he wanted people to be happy with his songs and his music.

I love Michael because though there are lots of accusations against him, many people are judging him negatively, he tried to conquer it all. He tried not to give up. He still making music to make people happy especially his fans. He's still there, making us keep our faith in him. And as a responce, his fans were always be there for him no matter what.

I love Michael because he's not just those other artists that are just entertaining. I love Michael because he's amazing. One of a kind. Best among the rest. No doubt, he's the King. He's not just that entertainer but an outstanding entertainer. A lot of great artists before and nowadays are fans and had been inspired of Michael Jackson. Its greatful to know that those artists became artists because of Michael Jackson. He was an icon to everyone. He was an inspiration. A hero. That is Michael Jackson.

I love Michael because of his great heart. He loved to play with children -- his nieces, his kids, and others especially the ill ones. He was childish. He loved to watch cartoons with his kids, he was always playing around. And that is the other side of Michael which I love the most. He's too naughty. He's joking around all the time, making PRANKS! That was his funny side.

I love Michael because of his sexyness. His sexyness. His SEXYNESS!! All the girls in town were going crazy because of his sexyness. The way he moved, the way he moved his hip, when he moonwalked, especially when he do crotch-grabbing. We, girls, are go insane everytime he do it. His seductive eyes which I love the most. His seductive lips which every girls wants. His sexy voice which he became more sexy.

I love Michael because he has a lot of talents. He's not just a great singer/dancer, but he's also a great composer, choreographer, painter, sketcher, writer, adviser, poetrist, a good cook, actor, producer, director, a good human beat-boxer, and many more. He knows a lot of things and I love him for that. And that's his Human Nature.

And thats the 7 reasons why I love Michael Jackson. He's not jus a superstar but a superstar with a big great heart. As his sister La Toya said, "He's not God, but he is God-like" and I believe in that. Michael was always aiming Peace, Love and Unity. And for me, that's enough. That's enough for Michael to be loved by many.

Though many people are accusing him of bad things, I promise not to give up believing and supporting in him and that is why we, MJ Fans are one of the most devoted fans in the world. I love you MJJ. We love you most!

My Story (Sponge Cola)

It started when Yael guested in Let's Go on ABS-CBN. Ano sya, yung guy na nerdi-nerd dati na manliligaw kay Bangs. Then nung nagbalik sya, astig na sya, saya na si Yael. Hehehe! Ibang-iba na yung porma nya. Tapos hinarana nya si Bangs. Kumanta sya ng "Jeepney". Tapos ayun, na cute-an  ako :).

Actually, kilala ko na sya and yung banda nya that time, Sponge Cola. Naririnig ko na rin mga songs nila sa radio and napapanood sa Myx. Then nung time na yun, parang wala lang. Na type-an ko na yung band nila. And actually, nag ge-guest si Yael sa mga game shows ng ABS-CBN kaya madali ko syang matandaan. And dahil dun, sumisikat sila (sya). Haha!

One time, may nakita akong CD ng Sponge Cola. Then yun, marami na akong nalaman about them, lalo na kay Yael.

January 21, 2006, 2nd year high school ako, nalaman ko na magpupunta yung SC sa SM malapit sa amin and syempre di ko pinalampas yun. Goshilicious talaga yung moment na yun kaso nga lang hindi ko nabati ng Advance Happy Birthday si Chris, yung drummer nila that time. Hindi ko pa kasi alam ee. :) Then after nun, naging updated na 'ko sa SC.

Nung pinakinggan ko yung Transit album nila, ang nagustuhan ko agad yung "Tuliro" (Bitiw pa lang yung nilalabas nila that time). Gandang-ganda talaga ako sa song na yun. Next dun yung "Sa Bingit Ng Isang Paalam". Ang ganda ng message nung song and sobrang powerful ng boses ni Yael dun. Kaya wow. Tapos nun, yung "All We Need". Pop-Rock sya. Uplifting yung song, ibang-iba sa mga kantang nilabas ng SC. Mas Pop-Rock yung "All We Need" . Yung "Sa Bingit Ng Isang Paalam", ano sya senti na medyo birit ng konti. Actually lahat ng kanta nila, ang ga-ganda. Ika nga, 'wala kang itatapon' kasi nga maganda lahat. Pero yung 3 songs na yun, yun yung tumatak sa'kin talaga.

Tapos ayun, lalo silang sumikat. Parati silang nag-uuwi ng awards galing sa Myx Music Awards, sa ASAP Pop Viewers Choice Awards and many more. And actually, lahat ng mga Music Videos nila, nagiging no.1 sa mga countdown ng Myx. Tas ayun, andami ko nang nalaman lalo sa kanila. Yung mga struggles, pa'no sila nagsimula, saan sila galing, sinu-sino ung mga nakasama nila before. Mga favorites nila. Lalo na si Yael, andami kong nalaman sa kanya. From favorite color to favorite movie, from what's to who's... ala autograph book. Haha! Tipong "Who is your crush?" Hahaha!

So ayun, they released their 2nd self-titled album and had 5 hit songs which are Puso (became the official theme song of UAAP), Ayt! (with Mr. Gary V.), Di Na Mababawi, Wla Kang Katulad and Makapiling Ka. And just recently, they released theri 3rd studio album entitled "Araw, Oras, Tagpuan" and surely, papatok na naman to.

And you know what I like about Sponge Cola is that, they're not perfect band. Well, lahat hindi perfect pero yung hindi pagka perfect ng band nila is what I love about them and why I love them more and more. Alam mo yun, haha! And sobrang masasabi ko until now na Im Proud to ba a SpongeColista!! ^_^ Im a SpongeColista by heart and as I always says, "Once a SpongeColista, Always a SpongeColista".

I love you guys,
I love you clanmates! :)

Keep The Fire Burning!

My Story (Beyoncé Knowles)

I became a Beyoncé fan after I watched her stunning, show stopping performance at the Grammy Music Awards 2009. I remember, she included all the soldiers of Michael Jackson from "This Is It" as her back-up. :) She performs If I Were A Boy/You Oughtta Know and Im totally amazed on how she performs it. She is a total perfomer. I never saw a performance with such a huge energy like that before so Im totally blown up on what she did. And from that, I really wanted to watch more of her performances. I want to watch her concerts, listen to her songs and search about her more. Actually, Im a fan of her since Destiny's Child days but not as much as today. You know, she was very different now. On how she sings. On how she performs.
One day, I got the chance to buy one of her concert DVDs which is her I Am.. Yours Live in Las Vegas. And while Im watching it, I was like "wow, what a performer". She can hit high notes even if she was dancing to the fullest, bending her body to the fullest, and even if she had a husky voice that night. So, on the first half of the concert, she did a full accoustic set of her songs. And my favorite part of it was her medley performance of Sweet Dreams, Dangerously in Love and Sweet Love. I really love her powerful voice. And on the last half of the concert, she told her career story by singing her famous songs including her tribute to Destiny's Child. And from that moment, I learned her story. From rags to riches :). From Destiny's Child to solo act. From falling in love to marriage :D and all of that, I learned just by watching that concert. ;)
After a couple of months, I also got the chance to buy her I Am.. World Tour. And after I watched it, I was like "oh my gosh, she's like a female Michael Jackson". So totally tremendous. So one of a kind show stopping concert. And I'll never forget her tribute to Michael Jackson at the end of her concert when she sang Halo and dedicated it to Michael. I was in tears in that moment. I love that part. And what I like about B is even if she's a superstar, she remains to be humble and very down-to-earth person. I saw that humbleness everytime she walks down the stage, greets her fans, shaking their hands, hugging and kissing them, taking pictures, and so on. And she always do it without any hesitations. That is why I became a fan of her even more.
As of now, she has a new album called "4" and has a new single titled "Run The World" and currently had a show stopping performance of it at the Billboard Music Awards 2011 which she was awarded "Millenium Award". And Im also looking forward for B to have a concert here again. And I'll definitely watched it this time.
